Eric Saulters
U12 Head Coach
Coach Eric, originally from Orland Park, Illinois, brings both high-level playing experience and a strong passion for player development to the ice. He played four years of varsity high school hockey, followed by U18 AAA with the Chicago Fury, before competing for four years at the University of Illinois (ACHA Division I / M1).

His coaching background includes three years of roller hockey coaching and two years coaching Peewee A and Bantam A teams, along with experience at the U18 WEHL level. He enjoys working with players of all ages and skill levels, helping them grow both technically and mentally.

As a coach, Coach Eric focuses on developing strong fundamentals, hockey IQ, and off-puck awareness. He emphasizes playing the game the right way — letting the puck do the work, moving it quickly, and understanding how to contribute even when not in possession. His goal is to help players think the game better, play faster, and become reliable teammates in any situation.

Outside of hockey, he enjoys golf, traveling, running, and spending time walking and hiking with his dogs.
